Golfing
In town you will find two golf courses just off I-82. River Ridge is a 9 hole public course along the Yakima River. Next door you will find the 18 hole members only Elks Country Club.
City Parks
Selah is home to several City Parks that are all very different. There are picnic areas, playgrounds, and sports fields throughout the City of Selah and all are open for use by the public.
Fishing
The Yakima River is a world class river for fly fishing. Prime locations are just 15 minutes from North Park Lodge. While enjoying quality time with your fly rod, you may also catch a glimpse of elk, deer, and big horn sheep. Never fly fished before? That’s okay, around mile marker 15 is Red’s Fly Shop, with gear, rentals, and advice.
Yakima Greenway

Hunting
Located in the Yakima Valley are many animal inhabited hills. There are herds of elk, big horn sheep, and deer. Not only are there big game animals but there are birds such as pheasant and grouse; as well as water fowl including duck and geese.
Winter Sports
Look no further than Selah for your opportunity to snow shoe and cross country ski. Many of the summer hiking trails become perfect spots to continue hiking year round. Selah is a quick drive to White Pass Ski Area and Snoqualmie Ski Area.
