Prevent crime and provide assistance to all citizens.”.   Partnerships within the community are Very Important to being able to fulfill that mission.   The programs under community services are: Citizen’s Academy, National Night-Out Against Crime, Volunteer’s In Police Services (V.I.P.S.) – which includes Citizens Patrol, Reserve Police Unit and the Chaplaincy Program.  In 2015 we hired Missy Maki as Selah Police Department’s Community Service Specialist
