On July 20, 2015 the Selah Park and Recreation Service Area voted to put a bond for a new pool on the November Election Ballot. Over the next week and a half you as the public will be able to tell them what option you will support in November. The City of Selah is seeking a qualified attorney to represent indigent defendants charged with misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor crimes in Selah Municipal Court. Court appearances will occur At 8:00 AM on Tuesdays for court sessions and Thursdays (if needed) for trials. Current caseload will comprise of approximately 60% of the attorney’s practice time according to public defense standards. CLICK HERE for full details.

It’s that time of year again! With over 500 runners you are sure to compete with somebody and test your endurance. The race distances are ½ Marathon (13.1 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles). We will also have a free kid’s run at 10:00am around Carlon Park. Winners will receive Artillery Shells fired from tanks out on the Yakima Training Center Army Base.
