Special Meetings to discuss Utility Tax Increase – Oct. 22 and Nov. 6

The City of Selah will be holding a public forum on Wednesday October 22rd and Thursday November 6th at 6:30pm, at Selah Civic Center, to discuss the need to raise utility taxes by 8.5% to cover essential fire and police services. Citizens are invited to come obtain information and discuss their possible concerns. The higher taxes would be used to update and replace emergency vehicles, personnel equipment, and provide updated safety features.

The City of Selah is inviting Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing professional architectural/planning consulting services for the construction of two buildings at two different locations: a Civic Center and City Hall/Police Station/Library. Recreation Coordinator Job Position – CLOSED

The City of Selah Recreation Department is looking for an addition to their team.

We are looking for a person who will plan, organize, develop and direct multi-program recreational programs and activities; provide direction to volunteers and part-time workers; promote and represent self-sustaining recreational programs; and be part of the interview process for part-time employees and volunteers.
