Volunteer Park play park area open!

Resurfacing has been completed and the play park area is once again open for kids to enjoy.

Please be aware that dogs are not allowed within that area, per Selah municipal coded adopted on June 12, 2018, which states:

5.06.020 Dogs in city parks or playgrounds permitted.

Volunteer Park play park area temporarily closed

Temporary Closure!

The play park at Volunteer Park will be closed July 10 through July 17, 2018 while resurfacing work is done. Please be aware and plan accordingly.

The walking path and grassy areas will remain open during this time.

Political Signage reminder

If you are planning to place campaign/political signs in the grassy areas of South First Street or North Wenas Road, please see the mowing schedule listed below.  It is the responsibility of the person placing the signs to remove and replace the sign for mowing purposes. Failure to remove signs will result in the signs being removed and not put back in place. For more information on sign code requirements please refer to the Selah Municipal Code.

As we celebrate our country’s independence, please be safe and aware of the restrictions concerning fireworks. Per Selah’s municipal code, the following applies within the city limits:
