Take advantage of this low impact class designed for all ability levels.  This popular class is a wonderful opportunity to be with community, get exercise, and improve overall health.

Enhanced Fitness & Balance Class

You are invited to join a new senior exercise class developed and updated at the UW Health Promotion Research Center. The program is managed by Enhance Fitness and is offered across the US. It is being sponsored locally by Southeast Washington Aging and Long Term Care and Selah Parks and Recreation. It is now being offered at the Selah Civic Center (*as well as locations in Yakima and Union Gap). The Selah class meets at the Selah Civic Center, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 1:00pm. It’s a good way to improve your strength and stamina for all those swings around the dance floor, romps with the grandkids, or other activities of daily life and have fun while doing it.

Enhance fitness is a group exercise class that improves your balance, flexibility, bone density, endurance, coordination, and mental sharpness. Adaptations for exercising while totally seated, standing with support, or free standing will all be presented. Please bring water, wear comfy clothes, and walking shoes. Anyone 60+ is invited to attend these totally FREE classes. We hope to see you there!
