Selah Annual Lighted Parade

December 3, 2021Parade starts at 6:00pm

ROUTE: Wernex Loop to Selah Civic Center

Hosted by the Selah Downtown Association, the Selah Lighted Parade showcases elaborately decorated vehicles with lights and celebration.

After the parade, hang out between the Selah Civic Center and Kings Row. Santa will light Selah’s Christmas Tree, the kiddos can explore some of the lighted trucks, local vendors will have refreshments for sale, and Santa will be available for pictures.

Recycling News!

The holidays are here! But not to worry, November pick up dates are as follows:

Thursday Nov 11th (Veteran’s Day) – Normal pick up – Basin will be working. Recycling pick up will operate per normal schedule

Thursday Nov 25 (Thanksgiving Day) – No pick up on Thursday – Basin will be closed. Recycling pick up will be on Friday, Nov 26th and operate per normal schedule.

Residential Yard Waste Only

Debris needs to be boxed, bundled or bagged in 50 pound units or less and limited to 4 feet in length

No larger items will be picked up

No tires, metals, or demolition debris will be picked up

No hazardous waste (motor oil, batteries, paint, Anti-freeze, etc.)

Leave items to be picked up at your regular garbage pick up site on your regular garbage day

Hydrant Testing Notice

Starting September 21, 2021, the City of Selah Fire Department will begin testing fire hydrants in the Selah area.
