The Yakima Regional Clean Air Agency has issued an Air Quality Burn Ban for the Yakima Valley.

Based on unhealthy air quality caused by smoke from wildfires the YRCAA Air Pollution Control Officer has declared an air quality burn ban for both the Upper and Lower Yakima County areas effective Wednesday August 19, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. until further notice. Selah Pool Special Meeting (SPRSA)

On July 20, 2015 the Selah Park and Recreation Service Area voted to put a bond for a new pool on the November Election Ballot. CLOSED – Public Defender Proposals

The City of Selah is seeking a qualified attorney to represent indigent defendants charged with misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor crimes in Selah Municipal Court. Court appearances will occur At 8:00 AM on Tuesdays for court sessions and Thursdays (if needed) for trials. Current caseload will comprise of approximately 60% of the attorney’s practice time according to public defense standards. CLICK HERE for full details.
