The Selah Skate Park has been a staple of our community since the early 2000’s. Recently, the Selah Parks and Recreation Department has been preliminary approved for a $35,000 state grant. National Night Out at Wixson Park
The Selah Police Department, along with donations from local businesses, is hosting National Night Out, “America’s Night out against Crime.” This event will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2016 at Wixson Park from 6:00-8:30 PM. National Night Out is an effort that promotes Police-Community partnerships. The Selah pool opened on Friday, June 10th for the summer season. A complete schedule is available, listing classes and free swim. Public Hearing – Six Year Transportation Improvement Program for the Years 2017 to 2022
On June 14, 2016 at 4:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practical, in Council Chambers at City Hall, 115 W. Naches Avenue, Selah, WA. shall be a public hearing to hear and decide on the Six Year Transportation Improvement Program for the years 2017 to 2022, provided as required by law.
Spring Cleanup Week – May 16-20, 2016
The annual Spring Cleanup is May 16-20 this year, on your regular garbage day. Items can be bagged, boxed or bundled, and are limited to fifty pounds or less per bag, box or bundle. Branches may be bundled for pickup, but must be four feet or less in length.
