Swimming Pool Employment

The City of Selah is accepting applications for seasonal employees for the City Swimming Pool, including cashiers, lifeguards, and head lifeguards.

Lifeguards are responsible for patrolling the pool in order to maintain the absolute safety of the facility. Duties include, but are not limited to, enforcing rules, supervising swimmers in assigned areas of the pools during its use, preventing accidents, maintaining discipline, making rescues when necessary, and applying first aid and resuscitation techniques when needed.

Starting pay will be based on job position and previous experience. The designated pay rates can be found on page two of our 2017 Salary Ordinance.
