City Council Meeting – January 13, 2015

On Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at 4:00 pm, the Selah City Council will meet for a regularly scheduled meeting in Council Chambers, Selah City Hall, 115 West Naches Avenue. This meeting is open to the public and conforms with State requirements for the Open Public Meetings Act.

Holiday Garbage Collection

Garbage will be collected on the normal collection days for the weeks of December 22, 2014 through January 2nd. We do request that you put out your cans the night before, as the drivers will be running earlier than usual. If you have any questions, please call us at (509) 698-7328.

BURN BAN lifted

Due to improved air quality the YRCAA Air Pollution Control Officer, has removed the Stage 2 Burn Ban Lower Yakima County and Stage 1 Burn Ban Upper Yakima County. No burn ban in effect for Yakima County. Air quality conditions can change rapidly please check their web site for the most up to date information. www.yakimacleanair.org

STAGE 2 Burn Ban declared

A Stage 2 Burn Ban has been declared by the YRCAA Air Pollution Control Officer for both the Upper and Lower Yakima County areas effective Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. until further notice. This burn ban has been called due to Unhealthy air quality conditions combined with poor ventilation and dispersion.
