Free Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday April 4th at Wixon Park there will be an Easter Egg hunt for the kids.

There are four age categories:

Walking – 2

3 – 5

6 – 8

9 – 12

 

This is a free Event sponsored by Bill Harris Used Cars and KXDD, there will be $600 in prizes up for grabs between the age groups.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will also be happening that day from 8am – 10am at the Selah Civic Center, hosted by the Selah Kiwanis Club

New City Administrator Selected

The City has been without a permanent City Administrator since the former City Administrator left late last year. Public Works Director Joe Henne was appointed as the interim City Administrator until a permanent one could be selected.

After a review of the sixteen applicants for the position Mayor Gawlik and Mayor Pro Tem Brooke Finch selected five for the first round of interviews. The eight member panel reduced those five applicants to three, bringing each in for a second interview on Friday, … Read More

Study Session for Welcome to Selah sign proposals

On Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at 5:00 pm, the Selah City Council will meet for a regularly scheduled study session in Council Chambers, Selah City Hall, 115 West Naches Avenue, to review proposals for a ‘Welcome to Selah’ sign. All members of the community are invited to attend and hear the proposals presented. This is a Council study session, not an open forum.
