Benefits: Accrual of paid sick leave; may be eligible to participate in Pers-2 retirement program. (Any other benefits will be per the Mayor’s decision.)
Hourly Pay Range: $18.46 – $21.54 gross. (Specific wage will be set by the Mayor.)

The City reserves the right to make minor changes to this schedule as necessary.
Summary of Position:
This is contemplated to be a part-time position, with hours typically not exceeding 30 per work week. The employee will perform routine and special clerical, bookkeeping, accounting and administrative work – mostly by using computer programs. The employee will be cross-trained to perform payroll functions, accounts payable/receivable functions, business licensing functions, and utility billing/payment functions.
Position-Specific Requirements: The following position-specific qualifications are required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Washington state driver’s license (within two months of accepting employment).
- Ability to type 30 words per minute (WPM).
- Regular attendance and consistent performance.
- Two (2) years of progressively-significant work history.
