There will be a special meeting of the City of Selah Civil Service Commission on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11:00am in the Selah City Council Chambers located at 115 W. Naches Ave., Selah WA 98942. This meeting is open to the public and conforms with State requirements for the Open Public Meetings Act.

UPDATED 12/12/2021 | 12:35pm: The Yakima Health District and Department of Health has given the City of Selah full approval to lift the boil-water advisory for all of Selah. All water test results have shown clear, clean water throughout the City. It is safe for all City of Selah residents and businesses to resume normal water use.

December 3, 2021Parade starts at 6:00pm

ROUTE: Wernex Loop to Selah Civic Center

Hosted by the Selah Downtown Association, the Selah Lighted Parade showcases elaborately decorated vehicles with lights and celebration.

After the parade, hang out between the Selah Civic Center and Kings Row. Santa will light Selah’s Christmas Tree, the kiddos can explore some of the lighted trucks, local vendors will have refreshments for sale, and Santa will be available for pictures.

Join City Leaders and Selah Police to discuss the recommended new Law and Justice Center. Proposed site plans, architectural renderings, and floor design will be available for viewing and comment. We want to hear from you!

The holidays are here! But not to worry, November pick up dates are as follows:

Thursday Nov 11th (Veteran’s Day) – Normal pick up – Basin will be working. Recycling pick up will operate per normal schedule

Thursday Nov 25 (Thanksgiving Day) – No pick up on Thursday – Basin will be closed. Recycling pick up will be on Friday, Nov 26th and operate per normal schedule.

No tires, metals, or demolition debris will be picked up
