If you are a homeowner within the City of Selah and have built or remodeled your home since 1974 the Community Development and Planning Department may have originals or copies of building plans/ blueprints of your home or project. Washington State Law (RCW 40.14.070) in conjunction with the Washington State Archives (LU50-11-05) does not require our department to keep these plans at our facility after project completion. Swimming Pool Employment

The City of Selah is accepting applications for seasonal employees for the City Swimming Pool, including cashiers, lifeguards, and head lifeguards.

Lifeguards are responsible for patrolling the pool in order to maintain the absolute safety of the facility. Duties include, but are not limited to, enforcing rules, supervising swimmers in assigned areas of the pools during its use, preventing accidents, maintaining discipline, making rescues when necessary, and applying first aid and resuscitation techniques when needed.
