Basin Disposal has informed the City that they will be providing all residents with new garbage and recycle cans during the month of October. The exact dates they will be swapping them out have yet to be determined, but we will provide that information as soon as it’s available.

Due to unhealthy air quality conditions, the Selah Base Race portion of the weekend event has been cancelled.

The Fall Festival will proceed as planned, with a kickoff at 4pm Friday September 15th at the Selah Civic Center. The Yakima Regional Clean Air Agency has removed the current burn ban due to improved air conditions in all of Yakima County*.
