The 2019 Spring Yard Waste Clean Up Day is Wednesday, May 15th. Basin Disposal will pick up residential yard waste free of charge.

*Residential yard waste only
*Debris needs to be boxed, bundled or bagged in 50 pound units or less and limited to 4 feet in length

Looking for Selah Community Days Pins

As part of our centennial year, the City of Selah is collecting pins from Community Days events. We currently have three collections donated to us, but there are still some missing years. If you have any pins prior to 1961, or the years 1972, 1979, 1994, or 2013-2016, please contact Monica at City Hall (509) 698-7328 or drop them off at City Hall or the Civic Center.

Civil Service Meeting

There will be a special meeting of the City of Selah Civil Service Commission today, Wednesday March 6, 2019 at 3:00pm in the Selah City Council Chambers located at 115 West Naches Ave; Selah, WA 98942.

The commissioners will review the suggested requirements for the upcoming firefighter testing. Any questions can be referred to Andrew Potter, the Civil Service Secretary, via email at andrew.potter@selahwa.gov or by calling 509-698-7330.
