Over the past few weeks, Parks and Recreation Staff and City Staff have been in heavy discussion about the upcoming Hot Rods on First Street and 4th of July Celebration. After much deliberation, close monitoring of COVID-19 reports, input from colleagues, and concern for the safety of our local community, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Hot Rods on First Street. The 4th of July Celebration festival is also cancelled. However, please note, we will still have fireworks. The show will start around 9:30pm and we hope you will enjoy them from your homes!
