Selah City Council Vacancy

The Selah City Council is currently accepting applications from interested parties to fill a future vacancy on the Selah City Council. To qualify individuals must be a registered voter who has resided within the Selah City limits for a minimum of one year. Ideally, Council Members should be available to attend all regularly scheduled Council Meetings, which are currently held on the second Tuesday at 4:00pm and fourth Tuesday at 5:30pm each month.

All qualifying applicants must fill out the Council Member Application form, which is posted online below. It is anticipated that each applicant will participate in a brief interview at a Council Study Session on Tuesday, Tuesday February 26, 2019 and appointment may be made as early as the same day, at the Council Meeting following the Study Session. The selected Council Member’s term will begin effective immediately, upon selection, and continue until December 31, 2019.

The deadline for submitting an application is 5:00pm Monday, February 4, 2019.
