NOTICE OF PETITION AND HEARING CHANGE OF VENUE

NOTICE OF PETITION: On July 7, 2020, the Selah School District submitted a Right-of-Way Vacation application and petition to the City of Selah requesting vacation of a portion of the North First Street right-of-way lying north of West Bartlett Ave. for the purpose of eliminating the existing on street school bus and vehicle parking in front of the John Campbell School.   The parking is to be replaced with public sidewalk and landscaping in collaboration with the reconstruction of the existing school.  The file containing the complete application is available for public review are available during regular business hours at the Planning Department at 222 South Rushmore Road, Selah, Washington 98942. The staff report will be available approximately one week before the hearing. Contact the Planning Department with project, procedural or environmental questions.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CHANGE OF VENUE:  This request requires that the City Council hold an open record public hearing in accordance with the Revised Code of Washington, RCW 35.79.  The public hearing on the proposed right-of-way vacation that was originally scheduled in the Council Chambers, City Hall Bldg., 115 W. Naches Ave., Selah, Washington on August 11, 2020, at 5:30 p.m., has been moved to Zoom by electronic or telephonic means.  Procedures for attendance of this closed record public hearing will be provided on the City of Selah’s website along with the City Council agenda at: https://selahwa.gov/council/agenda-minutes/.
