Selah Civic Center Temporary Closure Beginning January 1, 2025

The Selah Civic Center will be temporarily closed for necessary remodeling and maintenance beginning January 1, 2025. During this time, we will be working to improve the facility to better serve our community and enhance your experience.

City of Selah Holiday Closure

City of Selah administrative offices will be closed at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and all day on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. This closure includes administrative offices at the following locations:

City Hall

Police Department

Fire Department

Public Works

Civic Center

Change on Utility Taxes

The City Council voted recently to make a change on utility taxes. Your October bill was consistent with that change. Henceforth, utility taxes will occur as an inter-fund ‘tax’ on gross revenues the City receives. Customers will no longer have to pay utility taxes to the City. Notice of Lander Road Closure

Selland Construction will be closing Lander Road, from Speyers Road to W. Goodlander Road, to through traffic from November 4, 2024 to Spring 2025. The purpose of the closure is to allow for the safe and efficient installation of buried utilities, including sewer and water mains, stormwater infrastructure and power. Surface improvements including curb, gutter, sidewalk and paving will also take place during the road closure. Click here for more information.
