National Night Out 2018

The Selah Police Department, along with donations from local businesses, is hosting National Night Out, “America’s Night out against Crime.” This event will be held on Tuesday, August 7th at Wixson Park from 6:00-8:30 PM. National Night Out is an effort that promotes Police-Community partnerships. By bringing neighbors together, it sends a message to criminals that the neighborhoods are organized and taking a stand against crime and drugs. This creates safer neighborhoods by strengthening partnerships between residents and local law enforcement and heightens the community awareness of what is going on around them. We will have fun activities for the kids, free hotdogs, chips, drinks. There will be Marines, Army, National Guard, Selah Fire Department, WSP, Yakima County Sheriffs, Mustang and VW Clubs, Blue Knights, local business, face painting and a smash car to hit!. Please come join us for an evening of Fun & Community involvement!
