Community Meeting for Volunteer Park

You’re invited to a community meeting at 6pm on Tuesday, February 17th, at the Civic Center to find out how you can support Volunteer Park.
The City of Selah is pursuing the development of Volunteer Park, an all-inclusive five acre park, which will be located on Merinda Drive, just off of 1st Street. At the most recent Chamber of Commerce meeting Charlie Brown, the Recreation Manager, presented details about the park including the unique amenities it will offer, its development timeline, and how local businesses can get involved. As many Selah residents and business owners cannot attend these midday meetings, we are holding a public meeting in the evening to inform community members about this project and to invite them to participate.
Feel free to invite your employees, friends, and neighbors to attend. This park is aptly named Volunteer Park because we cannot bring this project to life without dedicated citizens. We have invited churches, civic groups, businesses, and individuals to attend and get information.
