1st Annual Selah Independence Day Festival

The Selah Recreation Department is partnering with Les Schwab to make this event possible. On the 3rd of July we will kick things off with a color run. All participants will get white t-shirts and sunglasses and get powder paint thrown on them as they run through the town. At the conclusion of the race we will have a color party where everyone stands together and throws paint in the air which leads to even more paint on your shirts! The race will begin at 6:30pm. After the color run and party Cody Bebee and the Crooks will be playing music from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. While they are playing there will also be food and games for people to enjoy at the park. At 9:45 pm we will begin the fireworks display.

On July 4th the Boy Scouts will be hosting breakfast at Nana Kate’s Bakery at 6:00 am. There will also be a parade on 1st street beginning at 10:00am.
