On December 9, 2014 the City of Selah will hold a public hearing for interested partied to appear and comment upon Ellensburg Telephone Company doing business as Fairpoint Communications’ request for a franchise agreement permitting it to locate, construct, operate and maintain lines, poles, anchors, wires, cables, conduit, laterals, and other appurtenances, necessary and convenient to the provision of access to the television service over, under, along and across City of Selah rights of way and public property within the City of Selah, Washington.

The purpose of the public hearing is to hear testimony and deliberate on the request for franchise agreement. Testimony and factual material concerning the proposal may be presented to the City Council by an affected person or agency at the hearing or written materials may be submitted to the City of Selah before the hearing date.
