In lieu of adopting a Title VI Plan, the City of Selah agrees to comply with the WSDOT Title VI plan. The City of Selah assures that, no person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity. The City of Selah further assures every effort will be made to ensure nondiscrimination in all of its programs and activities, whether those programs and activities are federally funded or not.
