Selah Parks & Recreation Service Area Pool Options:

Option 1: Construct a standard 25 yard pool with features and depths for swim lessons and recreational, competitive, and lap swimming. Additionally, there will be an interactive zero-entry pool for younger children, with a run-out slide, a second slide for older children and four-lane pool for programming and recreation. Selah Pool Special Meeting (SPRSA)

On July 20, 2015 the Selah Park and Recreation Service Area voted to put a bond for a new pool on the November Election Ballot. Over the next week and a half you as the public will be able to tell them what option you will support in November. CLOSED – Public Defender Proposals

The City of Selah is seeking a qualified attorney to represent indigent defendants charged with misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor crimes in Selah Municipal Court. Court appearances will occur At 8:00 AM on Tuesdays for court sessions and Thursdays (if needed) for trials. Current caseload will comprise of approximately 60% of the attorney’s practice time according to public defense standards. CLICK HERE for full details.

Army Base Race – Sept 19

It’s that time of year again! With over 500 runners you are sure to compete with somebody and test your endurance. The race distances are ½ Marathon (13.1 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles). We will also have a free kid’s run at 10:00am around Carlon Park. Winners will receive Artillery Shells fired from tanks out on the Yakima Training Center Army Base.
