Volunteer Position Summary:
Applications are being accepted for appointment to multiple positions on the City of Selah Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission, under the work program direction of the City Council, acts as the fact-finding agency related to land use matters and long-range planning in the City of Selah (RCW 35A.63.) Commissioners advise the City Council on applicable Selah Municipal Code (SMC) amendments and on other policy issues and plan amendments as directed by the City Council. The positions will be involved in the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Update as well.
The Planning Commission is scheduled to meet on the first and third Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. Meetings are currently being held in person.
Applications are accepted at any time; the first review will be Monday, July 25, 2022.
