CITY OF SELAH NOTICE OF DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION & OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE COMMENT

Application: On March 10, 2020, the City of Selah Planning Department received a Class 3 Review, from HLA Engineering and Land Surveying Inc. on behalf of the Selah School District to relocate or surplus five portable classrooms from the John Campbell Elementary School Campus. Two classrooms will be moved to Selah High School, two to the Selah Middle School, one to Lince Kindergarten, and one surplused.

Project Addresses:  801 N. 1st St., 1401 W. Fremont Ave., & 208 S. 3rd St., Selah, WA  98942:

Tax Parcel Number: 181436-22001, 181435-32002, & 181435-44456.

Zoning District of Subject Property: One-Family Residential (R-1).

File Numbers: CL3-2020-001:  The application was determined complete for processing on March 27, 2020. The decision on this application will be made within one-hundred twenty days of the determination of complete application.

Approvals, Actions and Required Studies: Class 3 Use Review, & Building Permits.

Request for Written Comments on the Proposal: Written comments concerning the proposed Class 3 Review will be accepted during the public comment period that ends at 5:00 p.m, on April 15, 2020. You may mail your comments to Selah Planning Department, 222 So. Open Record Public Hearing The requested application require both an open record public hearing and recommendation by the City of Selah Planning Commission, as well as a closed record public hearing by the City of Selah City Council.  Following completion of the above identified public comment period, the City of Selah will issue separate notices for the public hearings in accordance with SMC Title 21.  Application information and maps detailing the proposal are available during regular business hours at the Planning Department at 222 South Rushmore Road, Selah, Washington 98942 or online.
