CITY OF SELAH NOTICE OF DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION, NOTICE OF COMPLETENESS, OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE COMMENTS, AND NOTICE OF OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING:
NOTICE OF SHORT PLAT APPLICATION—FILE NO. SHORT-2019-002: Notice of Proposal
On May 17, 2019, the City of Selah Planning Department received a Short Plat application from Ronimo, LLC and the City of Selah Public Works Division proposing a subdivision of two properties into three lots of record with each proposed lot meeting or exceeding the required minimum lot size requirements of the General Business, (B-2) zoning district. The applicant requests approval of the short plat to create the individual parcels each served with municipal water and sewage service and fronting upon a public street or accessed by an easement. The site is located in the vicinity of 11th Ave (Parcel Numbers: 181301-23009 & 181301-32004).The application was determined complete for processing on July 1, 2019. A letter of completeness was mailed to the applicant on the same. A final decision on this application will be made within one-hundred twenty days of the date of the letter of completeness.:
Environmental review The City of Selah, as the Lead Agency for this proposal under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), has determined that this proposal is categorically exempt from SEPA per WAC 197-11-800(6)(a). This determination was made after a review of WAC 197-11-800(6)(a).
Request for Written Comments on the Proposed Short Plat Your views on the proposed short plat are important and welcome. All written comments received will be included in the file and provided to the hearing body prior to the public hearing on the proposed short plat.: Written comments concerning the proposed short plat will be accepted during the public comment period that expires at 5:00 p.m., July 17, 2019. Be sure to reference the above file number in any correspondence. Open Record Public Hearing An Open Record Public Hearing on the proposed short plat will be held before the City of Selah Planning Commission. The Commission will conduct the hearing on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, commencing at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City of Selah City Hall, 115 W. Naches Ave. Selah, WA.: At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission will formulate a recommendation of short plat approval, approval with conditions, or denial and transmit the same to the Selah City Administrator for his consideration and final disposition.
The Planning Commission’s Open Record Public Hearing may be the only opportunity to comment on the proposed Short Plat Amendment.: Application information and maps detailing the proposal are available for public inspection during regular business hours at the City of Selah Planning Department, 222 So. Rushmore Road, Selah, WA: Persons who wish to testify in support of or against the proposed short plat are encouraged to attend the August 6, 2019, public hearing. All written comments concerning the proposed short plat received prior to the expiration of the public comment period will be considered by the Planning Commission.
