NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL CLOSED RECORD PUBLIC HEARING

Application: On February 27, 2018, the City of Selah Planning Department received a Nonconforming Use/Class 3 Use application from BORAchitecture, pplc on behalf of Comprehensive Healthcare to expand the Washington State Department of Social and Health Service, Yakima Valley School services to accommodate an Adult Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) to treat mental health disorders.  The programs purpose is to treat mental health disorders by assisting the clients in stabilizing their acute symptoms and supporting the development and implementation of individual recovery plans that assist the clients back to their families and/or community.  The subject property is located at 609 Speyers Rd., and is zoned Residential, Single-Family (R-1).

Notice of City Council Public Hearing:

The Selah City Council will hold a closed record public hearing to consider the Planning Commission’s recommendation on the above-referenced Nonconforming Use/Class (3) Review. The hearing will be on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 5:30 PM or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Selah City Council Chambers, 115 W. Naches Avenue, Selah, Washington. This is a closed record public hearing; no new testimony or information will be taken.
