NOTICE OF CANCELED CLOSED RECORD PUBLIC HEARING
Application: On April 28, 2017, the City of Selah Planning Department received a Class 3 Use Review application from Hordan Planning Services, 410 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, WA 98901 on behalf of the City of Selah to remove and replace the existing swimming pool and pool house and replace it with a new aquatic center consisting of a pool house, two swimming pools and other new aquatic recreational opportunities not currently located on the site. Additional features, which support the center, are: reconfiguration of the surrounding parking lots, designation of overflow parking at the Selah Civic Center, and installation of curb, gutter and sidewalks between the civic center and the aquatic center to provide safe passage for pedestrians between the two locations. The project site is located at the 214 and 216 S. 3rd St. Selah, WA 98942 (Yakima County Parcel Number: 181435-44432 & 181435-44437).
Notice of Canceled City Council Public Hearing:
Notice is hereby given that the Selah City Council’s closed record public hearing to consider the Planning Commission’s recommendation on the Class 3 Review application to remove and replace the existing swimming pool and pool house at Wixson Park scheduled for Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 4:00 PM is hereby CANCELED. Future public notice will be provided for this hearing in accordance with state law at the time the hearing is rescheduled.
